Ergonomics

Due to its compact design and quiet operation the Fujitsu N7100 is perfectly suited to be placed anywhere: In the office, on small desks in the corridor or any customer facing environment. The large 8,4 inch XGA (1,024 x 768 pixels) touchscreen and integrated on-screen keyboard provide easy operation of the N7100.

Features

The Fujitsu N7100 allows any number of users to scan, save or transfer data without the need of a PC. It supports the following output methods: Save image data to network folder/FTP server, send image data by e-mail, print (sends image data to printer server), send image data by fax (sends image data to fax server in e-mail format), save image data to SharePoint portal server. In this data sharing environment, secure scanner operation is essential.

The Fujitsu N7100 features login authentication, password protection for PDF files and an array of other security options (encryption, scanned image deletion, etc.) to ensure highest security. The Scanner Central Admin Software enables the configuration and monitoring of multiple N7100 scanners via the network. An SDK (Software Development Kit) is available for the Fujitsu N7100 to develop a connector to a preferred third-party application. The network scanner also offers two USB ports for peripherals such as a keyboard and, with the help of the SDK, it can also support devices like IC readers.

Performance

The Fujitsu N7100 is capable of handling an average of up to 400 pages per day. It provides scanning speeds up to 25ppm and 50ipm in duplex mode. The built-in high performance CPU and GI Processor work in combination with embedded PaperStream IP technology and provide image enhancement features at rated speed. The feeder with active paper separation system holds up to 50 A4 sheets. Mixed batches and even embossed plastic cards can be reliably scanned. Larger documents up to DIN A3 can be scanned with the optional carrier sheets
