Ergonomics
The Fujitsu fi-7160 is ideal for all office environments with its compact design and small footprint. The Fujitsu fi-7160 has an LCD screen to display various information (scanning profile choice, maintenance operation, etc.). Paper handling is improved by the presence of independent driving rollers for better alignment of documents before scanning and by the iSOP (Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection) acoustic system that detects stapled or non-aligned documents so as not to damage them and prevent paper jams.
Features
With its PaperStream IP driver, image quality is optimised upon capture. The Fujitsu fi-7160 comes with two software packages for regular or occasional use: PaperStream Capture and ScanSnap Manager. PaperStream Capture batch scans, manages scan profiles, indexes and sorts documents.
ScanSnap Manager can be used to scan in PDF or JPEG format, but also to generate Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from your scanned documents.
The Fujitsu fi-7160 also includes a remote administration tool for managing several scanners (driver and software update management, consumables management, maintenance, etc.). With the optional Post imprinter, you can mark your documents on the back once they have been scanned.
Performance
Thanks to its scanning speed of 60 pages / min (colour and grayscale), its 80-sheet automatic document feeder and ultrasonic double feed detection, the Fujitsu fi-7160 can process an average volume of 4,000 pages/day. The Fujitsu fi-7160 is capable of scanning an A3 document folded in half using a protective plastic sheet.
