High speed, reliable scanning
The compact ScanFront 330 helps streamline workflows and reduce costs with productive scanning speeds up to 30ppm. Users can quickly send documents to various destinations across the network, including sending to multiple destinations at once. With a newly designed feed roller mechanism and a straight through paper path users can reliably scan mixed document types, from thick/thin paper, card, long documents 1m in length, A3 size (in Folio mode) and embossed card.
User-friendly operation
Users will find scanning on ScanFront 330 easy and convenient. The intuitive, high-definition 8.4 inch colour touch screen and job buttons that can be personalized ensure swift and accurate file distribution to versatile locations, such as email, network folder, FTP, USB, fax and print. Useful time-saving features include the email-me function for users to send documents quickly to their own email address, and also ad-hoc fax where fax destination details can be entered at the time of scan.
Convenient remote management
The ScanFront 330 is simple to setup, and manage and helps reduce IT costs. Adding a scanner to the network requires no additional hardware or software, and can be run without the need to install server software. IT managers can remotely update, backup, and restore multiple devices through a simple web browser, or simultaneously with the ScanFront Administration Tool.
Seamless integration
Integrating into business applications can be made seamless. Metadata index files (CSV or XML format) can be transferred with every scan and this information can also be used for image file naming – allowing easier classification into back office systems. In addition, SDK’s are available for developers, including a web-based version that enables the ScanFront software to run off a separate web/cloud server. This provides much wider integration opportunities for developers and IT departments to create their own integrated customized solutions for their business applications.
Robust security
ScanFront 330 incorporates a robust set of advanced security features enabling users to have full-control over access, management and distribution of information. These include device identification login and password verification and automatic logout after a period of inactivity. User-specific restrictions and user activity monitoring can be centrally administered, and secure document sending is achieved with PDF encryption and password protection, for secure viewing, editing and printing.
